I had an excellent experience at 88 Korean BBQ & Sushi. From start to finish, everything was top notch. The food was outstanding with fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked BBQ, and beautifully presented sushi that tasted as good as it looked. You can really tell they put care into the quality and presentation of every dish. What truly made the visit memorable was the service. Our server, Yvonne, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She was attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly throughout the entire meal. She made great recommendations from the menu, checked on us often without ever being intrusive, and made sure everything was just right. It is not often you find such genuine hospitality paired with amazing food, but this place delivers both. I'm definitely excited to be back soon!

88 Korean BBQ is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve been to. The quality of the food is outstanding, from the perfectly marinated meats to the fresh side dishes that come out nonstop. Everything is flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection right at the table. The variety of meats gives you plenty of options, and each one tastes just as good as the last. The overall experience makes 88 Korean BBQ stand out—the food is consistently delicious, satisfying, and worth coming back for. Jian was an amazing server and made our experience even better. They were friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing

Grand opening is this Saturday 11/8/2025. Food is delicious. We came over the lunch hour and had both Korean BBQ & Sushi All You Can Eat (A.Y.C.E.). Food was delicious. It came out fast and hot. The sashimi sushi was delicious. The grilled meats were well marinated and nicely cut. The vegetables were fresh. The servers and bussers were great and very attentive. They could’ve removed the grilled more quickly as the spicy marinated pork belly, pork bulgogi and spicy chicken bulgogi burned (common occurrence due to the sugar used in the marinade). The resistant is clean and has a very inviting atmosphere. Would recommend and we’ll definitely be back. I prefer lunch since the price is lower, not as busy and the menu items are basically all available (I didn’t see any that were for the evening only).

We were there for friend’s birthday. The service was great. They changed the grill plate at least two times the whole night. Countless food to order for BBQ plus side dishes and desserts. The flavors of bulgogi beef and spicy pork are decent. Alcohol is not included, but it was very fulfilled for the food. A piece of cheesecake for the birthday boys or girls, and you also get a chance to play the spinner wheels for your birthday to win prizes! It’s a fun restaurant in Cypress. I hope it lasts!

Received a 20% coupon from this restaurant so we decided to give them a try. The price is $32.99 per person for just BBQ Or sushi, if you want to take both, the price is $38.99 per person for all you can eat on Korean BBQ and sushi. Drinks are charged separately. We had 6 people and ordered almost the whole menu, we tried almost every sushi roll, it’s all amazing! We also had the steak, shrimp, oysters and scallops for BBQ, they all good too. They have a sauce bar that has tons of different ingredients that you can build your own. All the waiters are friendly and nice. For the dessert, I highly recommend the fried cheesecake, it was delicious.

Just tried the newest all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ & sushi spot right here in the Cypress Towne Lake area, and it absolutely delivered. The food options are enormous—there’s honestly no way to get tired of what you’re ordering because the variety is endless, from appetizers all the way through desserts. I love that you can choose all-you-can-eat sushi only, Korean BBQ only, or—for just a few dollars more—I can opt-in to enjoy both sushi and Korean BBQ in the same sitting. That flexibility is a huge win. The DIY sauce station is awesome and lets you customize flavors exactly how you want them. Food quality was excellent across the board, especially for an AYCE spot, and the service truly stood out. The staff was attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time. This place is a must-try if you’re in the Cypress area—great value, amazing variety, and an overall fantastic dining experience. Take a look at my pictures attached to this post!

We heard great things about 88 Korean BBQ and Sushi, so we had a family dinner at the restaurant. We reserved a table for 13 and was promptly seated when we arrived. There are three options when you come in. You can do all you can eat sushi, all you can BBQ or both. We did both and the value is really good for both. We found that all the items including the sashimi tasted fresh and the meat was of good quality. I will say the desserts are lacking a bit, but we ate so much sushi and BBQ, it really didn't matter to us. I can definitely recommend going here for both sushi or BBQ.
